In this week’s lesson, the panel addresses the challenge of reconciling God's goodness with the existence of evil in the world. The Bible acknowledges this issue, as seen in Job, Psalms, and other passages, where believers question why the righteous suffer and the wicked prosper. God’s response to Job highlights the limits of human understanding. The lesson also introduces the "free will defense," explaining that evil results from humans misusing the freedom God gave them. While evil exists, God’s love is central, and He promises ultimate justice and an end to suffering, as seen in Revelation 21:4.
