“Persecuted but Not Forsaken” | Sabbath School Panel by 3ABN - Lesson 1 Q1 2026

28 Dec 2025

This week’s study reveals the secret of joy no prison can confine. From a Roman cell, Paul wrote, “Rejoice in the Lord always!” (Philippians 4:4). Seeing a larger purpose in his suffering, he turned imprisonment into a mission field, his chains into instruments of grace. Paul showed that true joy is not found in freedom or comfort, but in Christ Himself. As we study his trials, we’ll learn to recognize God’s purpose in our hardships—and to rejoice even in life’s darkest moments.

Eph. 3:1; 2 Car. 4:7-12; Acts 9:16; Philem. 15, 16; Col. 4:9; Phil. 1:1-3; Col. 1:1, 2.

“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!" ((Philippians 4:4, NKJV).
