Lesson 3 explores how, despite our sinful nature, we can be pleasing to God through Christ's work. The story of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11–32) illustrates God’s deep compassion, love, and readiness to restore those who return to Him, while contrasting it with human views of fairness. Zephaniah 3:17 reveals God’s joy over His people, showing how God values each soul. Despite our flaws, through faith, we can please God, as demonstrated by Jesus’ acceptance of even small faith (Mark 9:17–29). The lesson encourages selfless love for others, reflecting God’s grace and mercy.
