Joshua 7 reveals a sobering truth: covenant with God is not a formality—it’s life or death. Israel's defeat at Ai wasn’t due to weak strategy or inferior numbers, but hidden sin within their own camp. Victory depended entirely on God’s presence, and disobedience broke that connection. As Israel learned, their greatest threat wasn’t the enemy outside, but rebellion inside. Today, as we stand on the edge of our eternal inheritance, the lesson remains: faithfulness matters. Our only hope for victory is full surrender to Christ, who alone can cleanse, restore, and lead us into the Promised Land.
